What is Saturday Sauce made of?

Saturday Sauce is mainly comprised of tomatoes, onions, peppers, extra virgin olive oil, and spices. You can check the nutrition panel and ingredients statements on the jar's label for more information. 

 

What's the difference between the Slightly Spicy Saturday Sauce and Mild Saturday Sauce? 

Saturday Sauce in our Slightly Spicy variation is our OG (jalapeños and cayenne pepper give it that kick!). Our mild variation is made without jalapeños and much less cayenne pepper, so it has little to no heat- it's perfect for family meals including those with spice sensitivities (like kids!). 

 

How do you use it?

Our sauce is most commonly used to make shakshuka, but it pairs well with dishes that include meat, fish, poultry, grains, veggies, soups, stews, and so much more. Use it is a dip, condiment, spread, topping, or marinade. Check out our recipes for endless inspiration. 

 

How long does the product stay fresh?

Each jar displays an expiration date on the cap. Our product has a 2-year expiration date before opening. Once you open the jar, we recommend using within 5 days (but let's be real, it'll be gone long before that). 

 

Where's the best place to store my Saturday Sauce?  

Prior to opening, jars can be stored in your pantry at ambient temperature. Once you open your jar, store it in your refrigerator.

 

Does the product cater to certain diets?

Our product is naturally vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

Our products are made in the United States.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go out 24-48 hours once placed. Shipping time varies based on location (we offer ground shipping for $5). Orders received over the weekend go out the following business day. 

 

What's your Refund & Returns Policy?

Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns of food items once they have left our facility. This policy ensures the safety and integrity of all our products.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at contact@sababa-foods.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging. We’ll review your claim and, if approved, send a replacement or issue a refund.
