Saturday Sauce x Holy Tshili Spicy Tomato Crispy Rice Squares
Share
This dish proves you can turn leftovers into something magical. Sticky rice mixed with Saturday Sauce is pressed into a mold, then air-fried until golden and crunchy. Topped with a runny egg, Holy Tshili Spicy Everything Chili Crisp, and fresh scallions, it’s a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Add a side of garlicky bok choy for your greens and to make this feel like a complete meal.
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scallion, chopped (whites and greens separated)
- 1 cup cooked sticky rice
- 3 Tbsp Saturday Sauce
- Avocado oil (or other), for greasing
- 1 Tbsp Holy Tshili Spicy Everything Chili Crisp
- Optional: 1 egg, bok choy sautéed with garlic
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the cooked rice, scallion whites, and Saturday Sauce together until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease a heat-safe mold (such as a ramekin or small baking dish) and press the rice in, compacting it evenly.
- Air fry for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through so both sides crisp up.
- Top with an over-easy egg, scallion greens, and a generous drizzle of Holy Tshili Spicy Everything Chili Crisp.
Serve as-is, or with garlicky bok choy on the side.
